Show Cancellation

Sadly, due to the circumstances we as a nation are still facing with the Covid-19 pandemic and with the health and safety of our members, audiences and supporters as our main priority, the committee have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 production, ‘The Addams Family’. We have exhausted every possible avenue to determine whether performing in October would be viable. However with social distancing and other guidelines still likely to be in place, we have deemed it impossible. This decision was not reached lightly. The health and safety of our members and supporters has to be put at the forefront of these most difficult times.

We realise that this may not come as a surprise, nonetheless it is still disappointing for all our members and for our audiences who were so looking forward to seeing us perform again following our recent sell-out hit, ‘Grease’. We may have hit pause for now, but we have BIG plans underway for 2021 which will see OLTG make a huge comeback. So stay tuned. We are also thinking of our fellow musical societies around the country who have also had to make the difficult decision of cancelling or postponing their shows.

Finally, a massive thank you to all of our members, sponsors and supporters for the help and encouragement they have given us over the past couple of months. You have all been amazing! We cannot wait to be able to work alongside you again and to entertain the people of Wexford as we have done for the past 25 years (And most certainly will continue to do so for the next 25). Stay safe everyone and look after each other x
